Photography

Great photographers are always aware of the key visual elements and will make sure they are involved in the photograph.
There are a number of key elements:
  • colour
  • form
  • line
  • pattern
  • shape
  • texture
  • tone
  • framing
  • viewpoint
  • depth
  • perspective
The photographer will need to consider whether they are going to use a landscape or portrait photos. You can change the emphasis of a photograph by simply changing the viewpoint. Overhead and low angles shots can create emphasis and give a more interesting result. Also we need to think about balance and proportion e.g symmetry.

Rankin Photography- he focuses on lighting, props and setting. He makes his models do weird facial expressions so he can capture them with this face.
